Little update

Hope your days been good! Mines been Very productive, just got some spare time now and thought id blog abit! 

Saw the picture on the right hand side and loved it! hope it makes you smile :-)

New Year - New blog!

Helllo! So, having been absent from Seams & Dreams for a while, ALOT has happened which i will post on here to let you all see!
Last August i visited friends over in the USA - Georgia Atlanta. for 3weeks! Incredible story of how i ended up going there but they payed for my ticket and were the most generous people i have ever met! There are some amazing photo's from there which i will post on here!
In addition i gained a 1930's Singer sewing machine from my Great Nan, making it 3 generations old!..which is absolutely Beautiful and will post my products on here once i start making and using it.
Also, i am renting some BEAUTIFUL vintage crockery from my friends company - Olive&Em(follow on Twitter~Amazing stuff) and will post pictures of the stuff - defiantly recommend Olive&Em for any occasions you need some beautiful crockery to show off to to your friends with, My occasion = Mothers day.. No better way to use it. 
So my travels have started and are not near an end, will try my hardest to post and update most of the time!

'Uniqueness is beautiful'. As the caption says it all, from the clothes we chose to wear to the way we chose to style our hair, we are all influenced by the media by whom they 'tell us' what we should wear. But we all have our own tastes and choices, so know that you are allowed to be unique and wear what you want and chose the things you want to chose because you dont have to be held down by the media but YOU can be who you want to be.
I am loving the Wide-legged trousers at the moment, in a pastel pink with a white crop top looks lush, with some shades thrown on and some killer wooden clogs thrown with are quarenteed to turn heads through the highstreet.

Seeing life from new heights

So guys, 3weeks on from  work experience.. which was AMAZING! The week really broadened my horizons of the genres to Fashion and design. I think it is really important to not just buy clothes which are 'the look' and 'in' now but to find clothes which are popular and making them look fabulous on your body shape. The main thing for me is being comfortable in your outfit and what you look like, because when you know you look gorgeous and you feel comfortable you have more confidence and you are comfortable with yourself. Fashion should also be about showing your uniqueness and should reflect who you are in the clothes you wear, First impressions are everything. I'm absolutely loving the Boho look for this spring i think it is sweet! and the ultimate pretty for every girl.

Work Experience week

So this week i am on work experience at a fabulous shop in Manchester called - Junk shop -
This is a lovely little boutique on Dale street for those of you who lovee vintage fashion.
Basics, I LOVE to design fashion.
In the future i would like to get out there and make myself known as being a quirky fabulous designer. I love how different designers eg. Vivienne Westwood has not been afraid to get out there and go absolutely over the top with her fashion style! I think it it is equally important for Men as for Women nowadays in the way economy is to get them to understand about how to re-work the clothes lingering in there wardrobes, not being worn since the 1600's! Sustainable fashion is a very good way to rework the styles in high-street stores now, but to make it quirky, edgy and unique and affordable to the person you are.. whilst saving lots of pennies.
